Elgin, IL - After a long road trip to start the season, the Eagles were finally at home inside Lindner Center on Friday night.
The game was a close, exciting game that came down to the end, literally.
With the game tied at 75, with 7 seconds left, the Eagles had the ball with a chance to win. On a set inbound play, it was Javaris Wiggins on the baseline hitting a running bunny that rattled in for the victory. Judson picked up their first win of the season in a dramatic 77-75 win.
Cee Jay Nwosu led the way with 17 points, making 4 3-pointers, many of them in clutch fashion.
Anterrious Rhyan also had 17 points.
Gavin Alston was clutch with 14 points, and Sam Ellis was a force inside with 10 rebounds.
For Coach Fields, it was an exciting win to get in the win column. "I love how our guys weathered the storm late in the game when they made a run. It showed good composure on our part."
Judson is back on the road to open conference play at Calumet on November 21st.
