Palos Heights, IL The Judson University Men's Basketball Team came back late and tied the game at the horn thanks to a Leonard Wilson three-point shot; however, the Eagles were unable to secure the victory in a 71-70 overtime loss to Trinity Christian.
Wilson finished the game with 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals. Jack Keller led all Judson scorers with 16 points and had three rebounds and an assist. Anterrious Rhyan scored 15 points along with eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals. Isiah Burd had eight points and eight rebounds with a block. Sam Stewart had seven points, 10 rebounds, six blocks, and two assists.
"I thought our guys fought tonight and executed well enough to win," said Head Coach Bruce Fields. "[Wilson] hit a big shot to put us in overtime. We didn't get the stops we needed to pull out the victory."
Judson (6-21, 4-15) finishes the season at home with senior day on Saturday beginning at 3:00 p.m.
