Judson Earns Doubles Point in 4-1 Loss to Cardinal Stritch in CCAC Semifinals
Milwaukee, WI The Judson University Men's Tennis Team earned a doubles point against Cardinal Stritch in the CCAC Semifinals on Thursday in a 4-1 loss to Cardinal Stritch.
Judson's first and third doubles squads earned victories as William Barnes and Joshua Bavich won 6-3 against Stritch's top squad. Chris Veltkamp and Neill Pillai won their doubles matchup against the Wolves' third squad 6-4. Chadd Kerrigan and Max Fortun were winning their doubles contest 5-2 when the contest was stopped.
In singles play, Joshua Bavich won his first set 6-1 prior to losing the second set 2-6 and the third set was halted. Veltkamp was tied in the second set 3-3 following a 6-3 loss in the opening set.
Judson (9-14, 3-3 CCAC)'s season comes to a close following their loss on Thursday.
