Eagles Drop Final Two Matches Over Spring Break
Orlando, FL The Judson University Men's Tennis Team fell in its final two matches in Florida as the Eagles fell to NCAA Division II school Wayne State 5-2 and to Warner 4-0.
Against Wayne State, the #3 doubles team won their match 6-2. In singles play, Chadd Kerrigan won #4 singles 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, while Mathis Fauchet Poli won #6 singles 4-6, 6-1, 7-5.
Against Warner, Alex Veltkamp held a 6-4, 2-3 lead before their match was considered unfinished. Joshua Bavich and Mathis-Fauchet Poli were tied 5-5 in #3 doubles before the match was declared unfinished.
Judson (5-5) faces Purdue-Northwest on Friday at 12:00 p.m. in Park Forest, Illinois.
