JU Softball Field
Judson Softball Complex
The Judson Softball Complex is home to the Judson softball team and the 2008 NPF World Champion Chicago Bandits. In spring 2008, the field received many improvements thanks to the City of Elgin and the Chicago Bandits. Over $700,000 was put into the field with new dugouts, netting, first base line stands that seat 1,500, and a press box. Along with the improvements came new grass in the outfield and a brand new infield. The infield features Hilltopper dirt that makes it easier to play after a hard rain. Judson was the third university (DePaul, Northwestern Univ.) in Illinois to receive this dirt and the first NAIA program.
