South Bend, IN The Judson Women's Volleyball Team, competed at IU Southbend continuing their CCAC journey. Playing from behind the first two sets, the Eagles were fighting point for point in set 3 leading by as much as 4 points over the Titans but ultimately falling short of a set win leaving the court with a 3-0 loss (19-25,18-25,23-25).
Out of the 38 kills in the match for the Eagles, Emmaline Davey lead the team with 8 swinging a .438 kill-to-attempt ratio. Right behind her was Carolina Cosme with 7. Alyssa Gerzel, Kara Wicklund, and Brielle Wilkins all had six of their own. Filling in for libero, freshman Yomailis Fernandez racked up 15 digs and 2 assists in the match. Splitting the setting position, Madeline Shepherd assisted 19 kills, while Lindsay Lawlor assisted 5.
The Eagles are back in action at home Thursday 9/15 against Saint Xavier.
