Judson University women's tennis suffers tough loss on the road
Bourbonnais, IL The Judson University women's tennis team traveled to Olivet Nazarene to close out their CCAC regular-season schedule. This has proven to be one of their toughest matchups of the year as the Tigers have shown their dominance in the CCAC by remaining undefeated in regular-season play. The Eagles played some extremely competitive matches in doubles with the closest match at the No.3 doubles spot (Anastasia White & Kelsey Quiett). Despite the competitive matches, the Eagles were unable to secure the doubles points heading into the singles matches. The Tigers controlled many of the singles matches and quickly clinched the match with wins at the No.1 (Sofia Corona Garza), No.2 (Samantha Brackenrig) and No.6 (Linda Nhiwatiwa) singles spots. This gave the Tigers the 4 points needed to win over the Eagles. The Eagles have secured a spot in the CCAC conference tournament and will face off against Holy Cross on Tuesday in Notre Dame, IN.
