Foster Wins Illinois Valley Invite to Cap Judson Men's Golf Two-Day Swing

Elgin, Ill. The Judson University Men's Golf Team finished a two-day stretch of golf on Monday that included a school-record round performed by Blake Foster.

Foster shot a 69 at the IVCC Deer-Park challenge, which also tied him for first place on the day. The Eagles as a team shot a 309 (+29) in the IVCC invite. Ethan Suits shot a 78 to finish tied for 19th. Patrick Owens had an 80 (+10) to finish tied for 25th. RJ McCoy shot an 82 to finish tied for 31st.

In Sunday's meet, the Eagles finished sixth out of seven teams at the Benedictine meet in West Chicago. Foster finished tied for seventh with a 76. Suits had a 79 to finished tied for 17th. RJ McCoy had an 83 to finish tied for 30th, while Patrick Owens shot an 85 to finish tied for 34th.

Judson hosts their final home invite of the season on Tuesday, October 12 beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Aldeen Golf Course in Rockford.
