Judson's 1990-91 Female Athlete of the Year, Star (Rodman) Dutcher was a four-year women's basketball standout. Dutcher is the fifth all-time leading scorer in program history with 1,256 points. She is also the 10th best rebounder of all-time with 564 in her career. She averaged 12.7 points and 5.6 rebounds over her four years from 1987-91, both top-10 career bests. Dutcher led her team in scoring as a senior, averaging 14.8 points per game, while making 173 field goals, the seventh most on the single-season charts. She was named team Most Valuable Player and earned NCCAA All-District and NIIC All-Conference in her final year. Also as a senior she shot a team-best 50 percent from the field (89-204) and also led her team in field goal percentage as a freshman at 43.6 percent (89-204). Dutcher actually had her career-best scoring average as a junior at 15.7 points per game, the sixth best single-season average. She earned All-Conference honors that year as well. In her career Dutcher made 569 field goals the fourth most for the program, while attempting the third most at 1,298. Rodman holds the record for most points scored in a game with 36 points against Lindenwood on Jan. 28, 1989.
