Playing from 1967-70 and graduating in 1971, the late Joe Jackson played three years for the men's basketball team and also lettered in tennis and track and participated in baseball at Judson. Jackson was named to the NIIC All-Conference team and was selected as his team's Most Valuable Player as a senior. He scored 1,396 points in his career, ranking him eighth all-time in Judson men's basketball history, and he pulled down 1,140 rebounds in his career, which ranks second all-time. He averaged 14.8 rebounds per game in his career, the best all-time average in program history. Jackson also holds the single-season rebound record with 394 rebounds in 1968-69.
