Bizo Sogavo
Sogavo was a key defender for the men's soccer team in the late 1990's and early 2000's as he was a member of three NCCAA national tournament teams and the program's first-ever NAIA National tournament team in 2001. The Papua New Guinea native captained the 1999 squad that finished 23-4 and placed fifth in the NCCAA nationals. He was named defensive player of the NCCAA tournament in 1998 and was a four-time all-conference player, including first team honors in 2000 and 2001. In 2001, Sogavo was an honorable mention for the NAIA All-American team and was an NAIA all-region 1st team player. He was also a 1999 NCAA Second Team All-American, and a two-time NCCAA North Central Team member in 1999 and 2000.
