Whitewater, WI - The Judson Women Eagles competed in their final regular season cross country meet at the Warhawk Open hosted by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
 
On a blustery Friday afternoon, with gusts whipping up to 12 mph, the Lady Eagles battled both the elements and the challenging terrain to secure their spots among top 20 runners. That included a 14th place from Danielle Giovenco, who finished the hilly 6K race in 27:00.0.
 
Eva Serrato completed the race in 27:54.6 to take 18th place, and Katelyn Poe had a time of 28:39.6, which was good for 19th place.
 
The Eagles have a break in action before heading to the postseason. The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletics Cross Country Championships is scheduled for Saturday Nov. 9th, 2024 at Crow Creek Park in Bettendorf, Iowa, hosted by St. Ambrose University. The cross-country race is set to begin at 11am.
