Moreno and Mayer Named NCCAA All-Americans

Joplin, Mo. The Judson University Women's Cross Country Team had two members reach the NCCAA All-American status based on their performances in Saturday's NCCAA Cross Country National Championship.

Kasey Moreno also finished third overall with a 19:18.50 5K time to lead the way for the Eagles. Marie Mayer finished in sixth overall with a 19:40.87 finish to help Judson reach a third-place team finish for the second time in three seasons.

"We are excited for both Marie and Kasey," said Distance Coach Cam Knudsen. "These ladies ran amongst some of the best racers in the nation during this year, and certainly they both deserve this honor to cap off the fall season.

Judson's fall season is over, but Mayer has earned an NAIA National Championship appearance this spring for her efforts in the CCAC Conference meet on November 7.
