Elgin, IL - In their regular season home finale, the Eagles were able to cruise to a victory Tuesday night over Calumet 25-8, 25-9, 25-10.
With the win, the Eagles are now 17-12 overall, and 9-4 in conference play. After a challenging week last week, where JU dropped back to back games at home to Viterbo and St. Ambrose, the Eagles were able to come out firing in this contest.
Normally, a strong team at home inside of the nest, Judson was experiencing a 1-3 stretch in home games. But a dominating win wraps up the home slate with a 10-4 mark.
In this contest, Yomailis Fernandez led with 12 kills, while Alyssa Gerzel added 10.
It was a game where 20 players were able to get some game action. Carter Papp had 4 kills, Andreah Cisneros had 13 assists, and Giavanna Rotger added a couple of digs.
JU will conclude the regular season Thursday night at IU-Northwest. They are projected to host a CCAC Quarterfinal match Tuesday November 12th.
