Serewicz-Wido Named CCAC Coach of the Year
Elgin, IL - In what figures to be the first of many accolades, Head Women's Volleyball Coach Alyssa Serewicz-Wido was named the CCAC Conference Coach of the Year.
In her first season as head coach, she led the Eagles to an impressive 21-3 regular season record, and a 13-1 record in conference play. The Eagles are receiving votes nationally in the NAIA polls, and have been ranked for much of the season in the NCCAA top-10. Serewicz-Wido has done a remarkable job in her short period of time on campus.
This season, Judson had win streaks of 13 games, and six games as they dominiated league play. Another signature win came against a ranked Columbia Mo team during a quad match weekend event.
The 2023 season is arguably one of the most successful in program history as they are on pace for having the highest single season winning percentage ever. The Eagles are a senior led squad that is on the verge of having several more awards coming their way.
The Eagles will be the #1 seed when the CCAC playoffs begin on Tuesday night looking to also capture the conference tournament title. With their regular season championship, it is the Eagles first title since 2000.
JU has also already clinched a birth in the NAIA National tournament beginning in a few weeks.
Congratulations Coach!
