Elgin, IL The Judson University Women's Volleyball Team showed their effort tonight against the Trinity International Trojans in the 3-Set match (16-25,23-25,13-25). Despite the loss, the Eagles fought well and were consistent throughout.
Senior, Madeline Shepherd led her team in assists with a total of 25 in the match. Receiving those sets were Carolina Cosme leading the Eagles in both kills and digs. She was able to contribute 7 kills and 11 digs. Following her was Yomailis Fernandez with an impressive performance all around with 5 kills, 8 digs, 1 ace, and 1 solo block. Emmaline Davey continues to stay consistent with her hitting as she achieved a hitting percentage of .455 with 5 kills.
The Eagles are back in action next Tuesday on the road against St. Ambrose.
