Judson Crushes Trinity Christian to Bring Home Second Conference Win

Palos Height, IL     The Judson Women's Volleyball Team traveled to Palos Heights this afternoon to face off against the Trolls. Earing the win, the Eagles were able to beat the competition in only 3-sets. It was a seemless performance all around for the Eagles from the first point to the last.

Starting with the offense, setter Madeline Shepherd was able to distribute the ball well to all the hitters on the court. She finished the match assisting 19 kills. Leadind the team tonight was Emmaline Davey hitting a season high .538 hitting percentage with 8 kills. Carolina Cosme helped the offense as well with her 6 kills and Kyah Golding with 4.

Alyssa Gerzel wore the libero jersey aginst the Trolls and lead the team in digs with 7 along side her teamate Yomailis Fernandez who had 7 as well. In addition to thier digs, they also applied pressure from the serving spot. Gerzel finished with 3 aces while fernandez had 2 of her own. Cosme and Wilkins shared a set of aces as well.

The Eagles play next at the Linder Fitness Center on Tuesday against Trinity International.
