Eagles Race At Spartan Shootout
Dubuque, IA - The Judson University Eagles women's track and field team demonstrated exceptional skill and endurance at the recent event held at Dubuque-Chlapaty Rec Center in Dubuque, IA on February 1, 2025. Competing against several institutions including Dubuque, Western Illinois, and Clarke among others, the Eagles made a significant mark in various track events.
Aayla-Marie Adams and McKinze Kearfott led the Eagles with standout performances. Marie-Adams excelled in the speed events, clocking 1:02.92 in the Women's 400 Meters and 27.23 in the Women's 200 Meters, contributing a total of 12 points to the team's tally.
On the longer runs, Kearfott delivered remarkable results with a time of 2:45.12 in the Women's 800 Meters—scoring 3 points—and completing the Women's Mile in 6:20.48. In addition to these superb performances, Elizabeth Lawrence and Eva Serrato also showcased their prowess in the Women's 800 Meters and the Mile events.
As the Eagles look forward, they are preparing for their next challenge at the CCAC Indoor Conference Championships to be held at St. Ambrose on February 7, 2025. The determination and spirit demonstrated in Dubuque set a promising stage for the upcoming events.
