Eagles Participate in Final Preparation Meet Downstate
Bloomington, IL The Judson University Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field Teams Participated in their final meet prior to the CCAC Championships as the Eagles drove downstate to take part in Illinois Wesleyan's Titan Open.
Camren Carter took home the hurdles title again as he finished with an 8.30-second time, which was .15 clear of any other competition and was consistent with his preliminary time of 8.29.
Dylan Bledsoe (4:32.27, 10th place overall), Chase Porsche (4:37.15, 15th), Kyle Braund (4:47.13, 20th), Gage Fox (4:48.27, 23rd) all had personal bests in the mile.
Kasey Moreno won the mile in a 38-person race with a 5:24.83 time. She, along with Ella Richter (5:40.62, 9th), had personal bests. Elisabeth Kania (5:38.42, 6th) and Eva Serrato (5:49.05, 15th) had season-best performances.
Mckinze Kearfott had a PR in the 800-meter run with a 2:43.68 time. Danielle Gibson had a PR in the 400-meter dash with a 1:08.82 time. Also in the 400, Cassandra Uribe finished third overall with a 1:00.54 time.
Uribe also broke her own school record in the 200 with a 26.52 time to finish fourth overall.
Judson participates in the CCAC Championships on February 17 and 18 in Davenport, Iowa.
