Hindt Finishes 15th In Nation for Pentathlon
Brookings, SD Judson University Track & Field star athlete Isabel Hindt participated in the NAIA National Championship in the pentathlon on Thursday. She finished in 15th place with a total score of 2533.
Hindt had a 60-meter hurdle time of 9.64 seconds, a shot put distance of 8.48 meters, a long jump of 5.05 meters, and an 800-meter time of 2:25.63. She did not have an official high jump total. Hindt was a few places off being an All-American in the pentathlon. It was an incredible pentathlon season for Hindt considering she had never participated in the event prior to this season.
The festivities continue on Friday as the race walk will occur at 10:30 a.m. with Anali Cisneros, Nayeli Cisneros, and Maria Alarcon participating. In the afternoon, Chloe Burkhart will participate in the 3,000m sprint semifinals.
