Judson Women's Tennis Honors Seniors

Elgin, IL....The Judson University Women's Tennis Team honored the graduating seniors today with a 4-0 win over St .Ambrose University. The Eagles have had an extremely competitve season this year and have faced off against many of the NAIA top programs. The ladies opened today with a sweep of the doubles matches with wins by No.1 doubles (Sofia Corona Garza, SR and Lizeth Medina Diaz, SR), No.2 doubles (Hailey Haws & Linda Nhiwatiwa) and No.3 doubles (Grace Nguyen, SR & Caroline Johnson). This was Grace's first appearance into the doubles lineup and she did an amazing job adapting to playing with a new partner and contributing to the win.

The Eagles easily secured wins at the No.1 Singles (Sofia Corona Garza), No.2 Singles (Hailey Haws) and No.3 Singles (Lizeth Medina Diaz) to give them the additional 3 points to secure the win. The ladies will face off against Olivet Nazarene University in their CCAC final match as they look to advance into the CCAC conference championship tournament.

Sofia Corona Garza, Lizeth Medina Diaz and Grace Nguyen are all seniors and have continually contributed to the many successful moments of the program over the years they have been here. We wish them the best in their post graduation journey.
