Women's Tennis Wins 5-2 on the Road

Moline, IL.- The Judson University Women's Tennis team traveled to St Ambrose University on Friday evening. The Eagles came out strong in doubles, earning 6-3 victories at both the No. 1 and No. 2 positions, securing the doubles point.

In singles action, Sofia Corona Garza (JR/Mexico City, Mexico) and Samantha Brackenrig (FR/NSW, Australia) both had dominant performances at the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, respectively, both only giving up 3 games. Georgia Redmond (SR/Crystal Lake, IL) erased a 2-5 deficit in the first set to come away victorious 7-5, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Katelynn Coleman (FR/Findlay, OH) won a hard-fought match at the No. 5 singles spot, leading the Eagles to a 5-2 victory on the evening.

The Eagles have two weeks to prepare for their next match against Calvin College on February 28.
