Elgin, IL - The Eagles hopped back into the win column on Tuesday afternoon with a home victory over Holy Cross. JU won the game in shutout fashion over the Saints 3-0. With three games remaining, the Eagles sit at 4-6-3, 3-3-2 in CCAC play.
Judson's offense was paced by two first half goals by Kelly Leon. The first was a header via a well designed corner kick by Josett Perez. The second was assisted by Maria Artaloitia.
In the second half, JU added onto their lead with a pretty goal from Yeyahs Macias with a ball that perfectly floated over the goalie's reach.
In goal, Eva Fernandez posted her second clean sheet of the season. Stephanie Naskrent and Ashley Portell also made some key blocks in preserving the shutout victory.
On Saturday, the Eagles will be back home to take on CCAC opponent Indiana Northwest. With three games left, the Eagles will look to close out on a high note.
