Perez Nets Two, Eagles Win

Elgin, IL - In a Monday mantinee, Dawson Field was hot, and so were the Eagles. Judson (1-1-0) defeated the Graceland Yellow Jackets by a score of 4-1 giving the Eagles their first victory of the young season. Senior Josett Perez (Streamwood, IL) was the lead star as she scored two of the Eagles four goals on the afternoon. 

For JU, also adding goals were Payton Siragusa (Sycamore, IL) and Ryan Gonzalez (Gilbert, AZ). Judson had an active 19 shot in the game as they were able to maintain pressure on the box throughout the game. In addition to Perez' six shots, Daisy Garcia (West Chicago) added four, with one nearly missing a goal for herself. Freshman Eva Fernandez (Madrid, Spain) earned her first career victory in net while making four saves. 

The Eagles will received a few days off before traveling to Clarke (IA) on Saturday afternoon.
