Kissimmee, FL The Judson University Eagles have lost control of their own destiny following a 2-0 loss to Grace on Tuesday to conclude NCCAA pool play. The Eagles finish pool A in second place and will await word on whether they have advanced to the semifinal round.
Judson had three shots on goal in the contest. Alondra Blanco had two of them for Judson and finished with a total of five shots. Kelly Leon recorded the other shot on goal for Judson. Thasla Barkmann and Stephanie Naskrent each had two total shots for Judson. Morgan Olsen made seven saves on nine shots in the loss.
Judson (1-1-0, 3 points) will know of their fate by the end of the evening around 7:00 p.m. central time.
UPDATE: With the results of the following games, the Eagles have been eliminated from NCCAA postseason play. This does not dismiss the fact that our women had another great season and there is a lot to look forward to in 2023!
