Milwaukee, WI The Judson Women's Soccer Team traveled to play Cardinal Stritch in their regular season's third to last CCAC matchup. The Eagles put up a valiant effort against Stritch, but at the end of the 90 minutes, the score read 2-7 in favor of the Wolves.
In the first, the Wolves' offense was forceful upon the Eagles despite a powerful defense. Allowing three goals in the first half unanswered, the Eagles had some work to do in the second half. Four minutes into the second half, Alex Wawrzyniak put one in the back of the net for the Eagles (49:47). Minutes after the score increased the opposition making it 4-1, but before the final whistle, Alondra Blanco in the 73rd minute, added another to the Eagles tally ultimately taking the loss 7-2.
Taking countless shots on goal, Morgan Olsen was able to save 6 of 13 shots for the Eagles, keeping the game close for most of the game.
Judson (8-6-1, 6-4-1 CCAC) travels to St. Francis on Wednesday to face the Saints in Joliet.
