Elgin, IL. The Judson University Women's Soccer Team opened the new Dawson Field Turf Facility with a resounding 7-0 win over Indiana South Bend. The Eagles held the Titans to0 shots in the contest.
Judson got on the board early and often. In the first six minutes, Alex Warzyniak scored to give the Eagles the early lead. From the 10th minute to the 14th minute, Judson scored three goals to toake a commanding 4-0 lead at half. Kelly Leon scored on a goal from Alondra Blanco in the 10th minute. Lucille Klimkowski scored unassisted in the 13th minute, and Mireyah Macias finished a shot from Wawrzyniak in the 14th minute. Thasla Barkmann added onto Judson's lead with a goal assisted by Leon in the 48th minute. Barkmann scored again when she scored off a missed shot that hit the post in the 53rd minute. The final goal came when Mireyah Macias finished a pass from Shelby Key to take a 7-0 lead.
Morgan Olsen played 69 minutes without seeing a shot. Jocelyn Guerrero finished the final 21 minutes without seeing a shot either.
Judson (8-5-1, 6-3-1 CCAC) faces Cardinal Stritch at 5:00 pm on Saturday in Milwaukee.
