Chicago, IL The Judson Women's Soccer Team traveled to Chicago, IL to take on Roosevelt. The away match ended in a 1-1 tie in the CCAC competition bringing the Eagles to 4-2-1 in the conference.
The match began at a steady pace allowing both shots on goal and saves from different sides of the field. An evenly-matched defense didn't allow for any goals to be scored in the first half. Right out of the gate in the second half came the first goal of the match awarded to the Eagles in the 45th minute. Kelly Leon scored her ninth goal of the season off a pass from Alondra Blanco. The duo of these two have been ones to watch on the pitch with their dribbling, passing, and scoring abilities. Judson was able to hold the opposing offense until the 89th minute allowing Roosevelt to tie the game and eventually finish the match with both sides earning a point.
