Eagles Take 4th Highlighted By Near Perfection
Addison, IL - This week at the Kegel Invite, on the Ladies Varsity side, we came away with a 4th place finish!
The Ladies had one of the best team performances in program history, placing 4th out of 45 of the best College Bowling programs in the Country.
The Ladies started off with a huge 1073 out of the gate which included the highest game bowled in program history by Senior Chloe Siezega who shot 299 leaving just a stubborn 7 pin keeping her from perfection!! Teammates Paige Carpenter added 248, and newcomer Karlea Ceasario added a 223 to pace the team.
The consistency continued throughout the tournament with us finishing day 1 in 2nd place overall. Led by Karlea Ceasario who has made a huge impact for the team since joining this semester. Karlea averaged 214.6 for the tournament which was enough for her 1st all tournament team and 5th overall individually out of over 225 female bowlers. Karlea was also 95% on single pins and struck 50% of the time on the weekend!
Senior Chloe Siezega also finished in the top 10 in 6th place with an average of 208.8 and was a stellar 21 for 21 on single pins and struck 57% of the time on the weekend. Junior Paige Carpenter averaged 192 on the weekend and was 94% in single pins and 82% on multipins for the weekend. Senior Isabell Cooley had her best performance of the season as she averaged 192 for the weekend and had a big 244 game 4 to help the team in a big way!
Senior Brandy Stewart had another solid performance averaging 175 with an 89% single pin percentage. Senior Kaylee Mann continues to be solid as she was a spark in the leadoff position most of the day on Sunday and she was 89% on single pins and Senior Michele Chancey was 72% on multipins and struck 40% of the time.
As a team the ladies averages 194.5 and were 90% on single pins!
This coming weekend is the Kohawk Invitational in Cedar Rapids, IA
