Eagles Claim Top 10 Finish
Addison, IL - This past weekend the Judson Eagles had another strong showing as we competed at the Warhawk Open in Addison, IL.
On the Ladies varsity side, we came away with a 6th place finish!
The Ladies started slow but were able to finish Saturday with a strong 977 game to get them up to 7th place and then a consistent day Sunday allowed them to move up to 6th overall. The team was able to make the matchplay round again but fell 1 game short to Davenport University 2-1 in the best of 3 matchplay. Junior Paige Carpenter lead the team in average at 197.4 and was 84% on single pins and 75% on multipin conversions.
Senior Chloe Siezega averaged 196.6 on the weekend and was 855 on single pins and 70% on multipins. Senior Michele Chancey averaged 176 and was a fantastic 94% on single pins for the weekend. Freshman Payten Kusilek averaged 167 for the weekend.
Senior Brandy Stewart averaged 162 and was 79% on single pins and Senior Kaylee Mann averaged 160 and struck 41% of the time on the weekend.
On the Lades JV side, we came away with a 2nd place finish! The team was able to move up from 4th place on Saturday to 2nd place on Sunday with consistent Baker game across the board. Led by Freshman Izabel Krajecki who averaged 168.2 on the weekend! Freshman Alexis Vande Kolk went 78.1% on single pins for the weekend.
Senior Isabell Cooley went 67% on multipins and struck 35% of the time on the weekend. Isabell also anchored the team all day on Sunday with many strong finishes to push the team up to 2nd place!
Other contributors on the weekend were Sophomore Katelyn Kiefer who stuck 30% of the time, Isabella Martinez who was 62% on multipins, Moriah Greenwood and Payton Curall.
This concludes a very successful first half of the season. Our next event will be after Christmas break on January 11th and 12th at the Storm Baker Challenge at Stardust Bowl in Addison, IL.
