Women Wrap Fantastic Regular Season At Hoosier
Indianapolis, IN - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Tier 1 Hoosier Classic in Indianapolis, IN.
On the Ladies Varsity side, we finished with a 15th place finish out of 73 of the top College teams in the country!
On Saturday the ladies had high games of 996 and 1025 which lead them to finish the day in 22nd. Led by Junior standout Chloe Siezega who finished 27th out of over 350 bowlers with games of 223, 258, 200, 142, 230, and 199 for an average of 209.8 for the weekend. Chloe was also 93% on single pins and 80% on multipins and had an overall fill percentage of 88.57% on the weekend.
Heading into day 2 the ladies came out the first game with 6 straight strikes and finished with 220! They also had games of 214, 200, and 226 to take us from 22nd to our final finish of 15th on the weekend. This is the highest finish at the Hoosier Classic in program history!
Sophomore Paige Carpenter had another solid weekend in which she averaged 196 and had games of 218 and 233 and was 81% on single pins on the weekend. Senior Neena Dingillo finished her regular season bowling career on a high note! She averaged 187 for the weekend with games of 206 and 204 in qualifying and struck 47% of the time throughout the weekend and had an overall fill percentage of 81.4%.
Junior Michele Chancey came off the bench to average 182 for her 2 games, Sophomore Brandy Stewart had a single pin percentage of 80%, Senior Tina Tindall came off the bench in game 6 on Saturday with a 202 to help the team finish strong. Junior Isabell Cooley averaged 175 for the weekend with a 90% single pin percentage and 41% strike percentage. Sophomore Demi Kontos was 79% on single pins and struck 43% of the time for the weekend.
This concludes our regular season and now we wait for the sectional selections which will happen on Wednesday February 21st.
