Runner Up Finish For Eagles
Cedar Rapids, IA - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Kohawk Invite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
On the Women's Varsity side, the Lady Eagles ended with a 2nd place finish! Paced by a 1012 game 2 of qualifying followed by 926, 927, and 959 day 1 we ended in 2nd and maintained that throughout the rest of the weekend. This is the Lady's 7th top 10 finish in 9 events and 4th top 5 finish of the season!
Led with an outstanding performance from Junior Chloe Siezega who made another All Tournament Team finishing 2nd overall with games of 233, 207, 215, 188, 236 for a 1079 total and a 215.8 average. Chloe also had a stellar 95% single pin percentage and a 78% multipin percentage on the weekend.
Junior Brandy Stewart had a stellar weekend averaging 189 for her 5 games with a high game of 223 finishing 10th overall! Brandy also was 85% single pins and 73% on multipins on the weekend. Sophomore Demi Kontos came off the bench to average 183.5 for her 4 games and finished with an outstanding multipin percentage of 84.6% (22/26) on the weekend.
Senior Tina Tindall had a high game of 242 and a single pin percentage of 80%. Sophomore Paige Carpenter after a slow start day 1 came back strong to shoot 214 and 220 to finish day 1 and still average 193 for the weekend. Paige also was 88% in single pins and 71% on multipins for the weekend. Junior Michele Chancey was 72% on multipins for the weekend and Senior Captain Neena Dingillo struck 33% of the time on the weekend.
On the Women's JV side, the Lady Eagles ended with 4th place finish! Led by Junior Kaylee Mann who finished 8th overall individually with games of 169,215,209,173, and 188. Kaylee also had a stellar single pin percentage of 95.5% going 21/22 on the weekend. Sophomore Darian Mobley had a single pin percentage of 75% and a overall fill percentage of 75%.
Freshman Katelyn Kiefer had a solid weekend of 76% on single pins and averaged 168. Senior Alicia Anton averaged 165 for the weekend and had a solid multipin percentage of 72.22%.
Other contributors on the weekend were freshman Hailey Anderson who had a 70% single pin percentage and Isabell Cooley struck 32% of the time on the weekend.
