Siezega's 3rd Place Finish Leads Eagles
Indianapolis, IN - This past weekend the Judson Eagles competed at the Western Open in Indy. The Lady Eagles had another very strong weekend as we were able to come away with an 11th place finish!
On Saturday the team shot a high game of 963 which was led the entire day by Junior standout Chloe Siezega who made her first All Tournament Team of the season. Chloe had one of the top performances by a Lady Eagle in Judson Bowling History with games of 220, 219, 192, 267, 207, and 241 and an average of 224.3 for the day and a 3rd place finish overall! Chloe also was 95.65% on single pins, 75% on Multipins, and had a 56.36% strike percentage for the weekend!
On Sunday the team made a major run in set 3 of Baker competition with games of 234, 227, 236, and 211 for a 908 4 game set which bumped us to 7th place at the time. Junior Michele Chancey also continues to take her game to the next level as she came off the bench to average 188.4 for her 5 games of competition which including 94.74% on single pins, 73% on Multipins, and a 50% strike percentage for the weekend.
Sophomore standout Paige Carpenter had a high game of 233 in qualifying and had a solid 81.72 overall fill percentage for the weekend. Sophomore Demi Kontos was solid on single pins at 82.35%. Junior Isabell Cooley also came off the bench to make a major contribution and was 81.82% on single pins and 65% on multipins. Sophomore Darian Mobley came back in off the bench Saturday and shot 201 to help finish Saturday strong.
Other contributors on the weekend were Seniors Neena Dingillo and Tina Tindall.
The Eagles take to the lanes again in 2 weeks at the Boilermaker Classic in Lafayette, Indiana!
