Another Solid Finish For Eagles
Wauwatosa, WI - This past weekend the Judson Eagles had another strong showing as we competed at the Midwest Collegiate Classic in Wauwatosa, WI.
On the Ladies side the Lady Eagles ended up with a 6th place finish! This is only the 2nd time in program history to make a tier 1 cut and advancement into the top 8 team bracket. After making the Top 8 we went up against Wisconsin Water in a best of 3 baker matches, unfortunately we came up short and lost 2-0.
Senior standout Tina Tindall had her best tournament overall in her Judson career averaging 194 in qualifying with a high game of 252 and a strike percentage of 44.6% as well as an overall fill % of 83%!
During qualifying on Saturday, the team had a high game of 1030 and backed that up with a 990 to boost the team into the top 5 overall. Junior standout Chloe Siezega averaged 190 for the weekend and a 50% strike percentage on day 2. Sophomore standout Darian Mobley has made major strides as she had an outstanding weekend going 90% on single pins (18/20) and a 86.6% overall fill % as well as averaging 189 for individual games on Saturday.
Sophomore Demi Kontos also had a stellar weekend in which she averaged 186 on Saturday and had a single pin percentage of 88% (22/25)for the weekend. Sophomore Paige Carpenter was solid on single pins at 84% and averaged 182 in qualifying. Senior Neena Dingillo continues to be a solid leader for the team and had a 33.3% strike percentage overall.
Other contributors for the weekend was Junior Isabell Cooley who had a multipin percentage of 67% and Michele Chancey. This weekend proves that this team has the ability to make lots of noise this season!
JU now head to Indianapolis this weekend to compete in the Western Open.
