Eagles Fall In Finale
Elgin, IL - On Saturday afternoon, the Eagles hosted their season finale against Indiana South Bend. For the second straight season, the Eagles were snakebit by the injury bug all season long. JU lost several players to season ending injuries, leaving their bench very limited at times.
The lone player to play in all 28 games, Brooke Heiman was terrific again on Saturday with another gritty performance. She led Judson with 22 points, and more hard-nose play. The senior had an outstanding season in her lone year on campus, and will be missed.
Allyssa Potter added 12 points. She made 47 3 pointers this year, which is down from last year's 58. However, Potter made more field goals and scored more points overall. Her 105 career made 3 pointers puts her just 16 away from cracking the school's career top 10 list in the category.
Newcomer Layla Anderson played well getting newly acclimated to the system. She added 4 points and 5 rebounds.
The Eagles were unable to qualify for the CCAC playoffs. But with a solid recruiting class, the 2025-2026 season cannot come soon enough for JU.
Some of the season leaders include Heiman with 13.1 points per game. Demiah Hawkins with 7.7 rebounds per game. Potter with 47 made 3 pointers.
Also, Bridget Grady with 38 steals, and Aliyah Kvamme with 48 assists.
