Elgin, IL - On this Saturday afternoon, the Nest welcomed in former Eagles for Alumni Day, and the JU Women's Basketball Team treated them to a victory in the process. The Eagles took down Calumet 71-34. JU defeated the Crimson Wave back in November as well.
Charity Anderson had a big game with 14 points and 6 rebounds. In addition, she played hard on the defensive end as well. While she was credited with three steals, Anderson also deflected several balls leading to turnovers and fast break opportunities for her teammates.
Sydney Novak was also in double figures with 13 points. Easton Kimball led the way early down low with seven points, seven rebounds, and three assists.
On this day, Bridget Grady also posted strong numbers coming off of the bench with eight points, and seven rebounds.
The Eagles will continue CCAC play on the 24th when they host St. Xavier.
