Elgin, IL The Judson Women's Basketball Team competed in their last contest prior to Thanksgiving break in search of a win against Saint Xavier. Trailing from the tipoff, the Eagles played aggressively to only be down by 6 entering halftime. Quick layups and free throws allowed the Eagles to come within 4 points of the Cougars in the 4th quarter but could not pull ahead, falling to Saint Xavier 67-61.
Leading Judson on the scoring front was Audrey Quintana with 17 points. Quintana scored most of her points in the first half of the competition and continues to be an asset on the court. Other contributions include her 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. An Eagles with a significant impact off the bench was Sydney Novak. Her efforts included 16 points, 5 rebounds, and 1 steal. Making her way back into the starting lineup was Synie Wolf she put up 11 points for the Eagles. In addition to her offensive efforts, she contributed 3 defensive rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 assist. Both Carly Scheblo and Easton Kimball added 4 points to the Eagles score. Scheblo had 6 assists and 3 rebounds while Kimball had 4 rebounds and 1 assist.
