Eagles Sweep, Extend Streak To Four
Clermont, FL - A day after taking a split double header from Ohio Christian and Webber, the Eagles were back at it with a double header against Penn State New Kensington.
In game one, Katherine Hrinda was strong again in the circle, notching the complete game win. Hrinda struck out five in route to her forth win of the season.
Madelynn Petty was 4-4 to lead the offense along with 2 RBIs.
Kait Marks, Braly Wiser, Cynthia Alvillar, and Grace Pekoc all had two hits each. In total, JU knocked out 13 hits for the game.
In game two, the Eagles took care of business once again winning 7-0. It is their second shutout victory on the season.
Madi Palmatier tossed four shutout innings for her first win of the season. Abigael Marines went the final three innings for the save.
Marks, Wiser, and Alvillar once again had two hits each in the game. Marks' big bat was responsible for three RBIs.
The Eagles are 5-5 on their Florida Spring Break trip with two more games to go.
On getaway day Wednesday, Judson will take on the hometown team, Warner before getting back on a plane for home. JU stands at 8-12 on the season and riding a four game winning streak.
