In game two, it was more fast starting for Judson as they took on Mission. Nearly matching their game one first inning, the Eagles sent eight batters to the plate, and pushed across four runs to kick things off.
In the bottom of the second inning, it was Alvillar connecting for a home run, and Wiser followed her for a back-to-back round trippers. Alvillar had three more hits, giving her six for the day.
Wiser knocking out three long balls across both games really added the 1-2 punch for the Eagle lineup.
In the circle, Haley Slaymaker dazzled for six innings keeping the Mission hitters off balance. She pitched the complete game shutout allowing just two singles and no walks. JU picked up the 8-0 run-rule victory to race out to a quick 2-0 start to the new season.
