Whitewater, WI - The Eagles' Men's team competed in their final regular season cross-country meet at the Warhawk Open hosted by University of Wisconsin-Whitewater over the weekend. 
 
On a blustery Friday afternoon, with gusts whipping up to 12 mph, Chase Porsche, the determined junior battled both the elements and the challenging terrain to secure his spot among the top 20 runners.
 
Conquering the hilly 8K cross country course, he crossed the finish line in 27:07.2, claiming 17th place in a competitive field of 55 athletes from four collegiate programs.
 
The Eagles have a break in action before heading to the postseason. The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletics Cross Country Championships is scheduled for Saturday, Nov.9th, 2024 at Crow Creek Park in Bettendorf, Iowa, hosted by St. Ambrose University. The cross-country race is set to begin at 11am.
