Vancouver, WA Judson University's Josphat Chumba and Marie Mayer participated in the NAIA National Championship race on Friday in the Pacific Northwest. Mayer finished her 5K in 19:52.1, which placed her 137th overall, while Chumba finished his 8K in 27:10.1 to finish in 151st.

"Both athletes ran well for the conditions," said Head Cross Country Coach Cam Knudsen. "Very slow course with a lot of winding turns. Marie closed out her career with her best finish at nationals, and Josphat is off to a good start. A good way to close out the year and looking forward to Track [season]."
