Elgin, IL - For their second to last home regular season match, the Eagles not only played host to the Trinity Christian Trolls, but also the University Staff on Staff Appreciation Night. A pre-game ceremony was held to honor and recognize the hard work of the campus staff in every department.
For the game, JU was able to come away with a three set sweep over the Trolls. With the win, the Eagles stand at 12-12 overall, and 6-5 in CCAC conference play.
The Eagles have two regular season matches left before the conference tournament. They will travel to Viterbo mid week for their conference finale, and play host to Governors St on Saturday for Senior Day. Governors St in their first year for men's volleyball will be a conference opponent beginning next season.
Mason Snodgrass paced the attack with 15 kills and 3 aces for the night. Captain Elijah Wrobel had 25 assists and two blocks in the win.
For Snodgrass, it was the third straight game in which he has led the team in kills as he continues to work his way back from injury.
Judson is currently in forth place in the conference standings with everyone chasing the #2 ranked team in the NAIA, St. Xavier.
