Chicago, IL - In an exhilarating non-conference volleyball meeting on January 28, Judson University's Eagles soared past the Illinois Institute of Technology Hawks with a final score of 3 sets to 1 at Keating Sports Center in Chicago, IL. The spirited contest drew in a lively crowd, bolstered by strong performances from the Eagles, who are now proudly holding a 2-0 season record.
The opening set saw Judson University getting an edge with a close 25-22 win. Even though IIT bounced back in the second set, securing a 25-20 victory, it was Judson who maintained composure, conquering the subsequent sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-18 respectively. This triumph displayed both resilience and strategic prowess from the Eagles.
Key contributors included Mason Snodgrass, who led the attack with a remarkable 17 kills, followed by Grant Shipley with 14 kills. Mikey Noetti also contributed significantly with 6 kills.
