Eagles Compete At NCCAA Nationals
Columbia, SC - For the men's track team, four Eagles qualified for the NCCAA Championships. They were Trey Sheron, Wendell Singleton, Jayden Gumbs, and Chase Porsche.
In the 200m event, Sheron finished in forth place with a time of 21.33. In the 100m event, he finished in third place with a time of 10.49. For Trey, those times are not his best performances, but it was still a fantastic spring for the freshmen. He was named All-Conference, and owns the school's top times in the two events for the outdoor season.
By reaching the podium in the 100m event, Trey was named an NCCAA All-American for his 100m performance.
Wendell Singleton placed ninth in the long jump event with a 6.53m mark.
In his event, the 5000m race, Chase Porsche placed 11th with a time of 16:15.28.
