Sheron Has Good Showing At Naperville

Naperville, IL - Judson University's men's track and field team showcased strong performances at the Chicagoland Intercollegiate Indoor Track & Field Invitational held on February 15, 2025, at the North Central-Res/Rec Center in Naperville, IL. The event saw the Eagles competing against a host of teams including North Central (Ill.), the University of Chicago, Wheaton (Ill.), Lewis, Illinois-Chicago, and several others.

Highlighting the Eagles' participation, Chase Porsche delivered an impressive run in the Men's 3000 Meters (Division 1) event, clocking in at 9:11.65. In the field of sprints, Trey Sheron made notable strides by finishing 6th in the 60 meter finals with a swift 7.00 seconds and capturing 3rd place in the 200 meters with a time of 22.67 seconds. The time is a new school record for the indoor 200 meter race. 

Looking ahead, the Judson University Eagles are gearing up for their next competition at the Hilltop Classic hosted by Illinois College in Jacksonville, IL, on February 21, 2025. The team aims to carry forward their momentum and continue achieving commendable results.
