Eagles Compete In Spartan Shootout
Dubuque, IA - In a remarkable display of prowess at the Spartan Shootout, the Judson University Eagles demonstrated their talent in Men's Track and Field on February 1, 2025, at the Dubuque-Chlapaty Rec Center in Dubuque, IA. As athletes from various NAIA, NJCAA, and NCCAA institutions converged, the Eagles left a significant mark.
Chase Porsche led a strong performance in the mile, clocking an impressive time of 4:33.36. He placed in 6th place, which was tied for the highest finish by a JU runner.
Owen Hachfeld added to the highlights with a noteworthy time of 10.13 in the Men's 60 hurdles to also place in 6th place.
In the field events, Wendell Singleton soared to a distance of 6.52 meters in the long jump good for 6th place, while Andre Hawkins demonstrated his strength in the shot put, reaching a distance of 12.75 meters.
The Eagles are now poised to compete at the CCAC Indoor Conference Championships at St. Ambrose on February 7, 2025. The team looks to build on their successful outing and continue their momentum.
