Peterson Takes 1st at Heenan Invite
Naperville, IL - The Eagles competed in the Heenan Invite hosted by North Central College on Saturday.
Judson had an event winner in the men's 800 meter. Sophomore David Peterson took the top spot with a time of 2:00.42.
That time nearly broke a school record, as the current best is 2:00.18 set back in 2018 for the event.
Peterson won the race that had 19 participants competing from area schools at both the NAIA and NCAA level.
Chase Porsche placed 13th overall in the 5000 meter race with a time of 15:58.40. However, that time is noteworthy as it is now the new Judson record for the event.
Porsche also finished 11th in the one mile race.
The Eagles 4 x 400 meter relay team finished in 6th place for the event.
Caleya Holmes on the women's side placed 4th in the 400 meters.
The women's 4 x 400 meter relay team also finished in 4th place.
