Eagles Have Strong Showing In First Track Meet Of Season

Grinnell, IA - The Eagles opened up their indoor track portion of the season this weekend, and they had a very strong showing to kick things off at the Grinnell Opener. 

Some of the highlights include:

On the Women's Side: 

Womens 4x200 Relay
Caleya Holmes, Mya Williams, Nayla Thornton, Aayla-Marie Adams

1st Place - 1:49:12 (New School Record)

Nayla Thornton - 60 M Hurdles 

1st Place - 9.30 (New School Record) 

Aayla-Marie Adams 

Triple Jump - 1st Place - 10.89 M

Long Jump - 2nd Place - 5.14 M

Caleya Holmes - 300 M

1st Place - 43.00 (New School Record) 

Eva Serrato - 800 M

1st Place - 2:38.48

Womens 4x400 Relay 
Katelyn Poe, McKinze Kearfott, Eva Serrato, Tikaya Jones

2nd Place - 4:42:08

And on the Men's Side: 

Chase Porsche - 1 mile

1st Place - 4:41.07

David Peterson - 800 M

1st Place - 2:08.32

The teams will race next in mid January at North Central College.
