Ballor and Uribe Among PRs at Wisconsin Lutheran Invite

Milwaukee, WI    The Judson Track & Field Teams took part in the Green & White Invite on Saturday at Wisconsin Lutheran. Josilyn Ballor set the school record in the 100-meter dash by .15 seconds with a 12.94 time and finished in third overall after being seeded 11th. She also finished eighth in the 200, which was a PR by .27 seconds.

 

Cassandra Uribe smashed her own 200 school record by .47 she was third overall with a 26.12-second time. She also has a PR in the 400 with a 59.75 seed time and had a 59.86 time in the final to finish in fourth.  

 

Camren Carter won the 110m hurdles event in 14.77 seconds, which was nearly a full second ahead of any other competitor. Dylan Bledsoe had a PR in the 1500m dash with a 4:08.58 time to finish in fifth after being seeded in seventh. He went from 10th to 5th on the last lap after a big kick from 300m to go.

 

Ella Richter (5:23, 10th), McKinzie Kearfott (5:29, 11th), and Annah Dulaney (5:42, 14th) all PR'd in the 1500. Richter won her heat as well.

 

"I really liked how the whole team competed throughout the whole meet," said Knudsen. "Many people doubled yesterday, and I saw great effort the whole time despite the heat. In many cases people ran better in their second event compared to their first! I am happy with how it went."

 

Judson is in action next on Saturday at Olivet Nazarene.
