Eagles Claim Two First Place Finishes At Karl Schlender Invite
Whitewater, WI - Over the weekend, the Judson Indoor Track and Field team competed in two events. On Friday, the men were at the Aurora Grand Prix meet. On Saturday, they were across the boarder at the Karl Schlender Invitational.
Among the various races, the Eagles wound taking home a couple of first place finishes!
In the 4 x 200 Relay, the team of Chris Frazier, Ian Wiggan, Chase Ashcraft, and Camren Carter took the top spot. Their time was 1:33:72. The second place time from Beloit was 1:34:79. At the moment, that time is also 6th fastest in the nation among NAIA school.
Camren Carter also took home first place in the 60 meter Hurdles Final with a time of 8.21. In the prelims, Carter was 2nd fastest with a time of 8.40 before turning up a notch in the finals.
In the 3000 meters race Chase Porsche and Kyle Braund finished 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Other notable finishes include Ian Wiggan 11th in the 200 meters, and Elijah Nixon 11th in the Long Jump.
The Eagles next meet is the 27th at the Olive Invite.
